Amtrak Vacations knows unexpected events happen. In light of the ongoing situation, their cancellation and rescheduling policy gives travelers who book new reservations through May 31, 2020, the option to change their travel dates or cancel their rail vacation up to 5 days prior to departure without incurring any change or cancellation fees.
Any existing reservations can be rescheduled up to 5 days prior to departure without incurring any change or cancellation fees. Customers will be issued a voucher for future travel, which is valid for 24 months and can be used toward a new reservation with any of their brands, destinations, and itineraries for any travel date and length of trip without penalty*.
