    • September 16, 2024 - Arrive at the Canyon Rim Visitors Center for a grand view of the New River Gorge and New River Gorge Bridge.. Visit the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine. Take a trip through what once was an operating coal mine. Let Veteran Miners guide you through the past and into the future of mining in West Virginia. Guests ride through the mine in a ‘man car’ that holds 35 people.Also, the Coal Mine Tour, enjoy the Coal Camp, which includes a restored coal camp house, miner’s shanty, church, school and more.
    • September 16, 2024 - Check into the Country Inn and Suites Beckley. Dinner will be at Pasquale's Mira Italian Restaurant. A favorite among locals.
    • September 17, 2024 - You're off to White Sulphur Springs to the Greenbrier Resort where the group will have a guided Bunker Tour. The declassified bunker walks you through a fascinating period in the resort's history. Once a top-secret U.S. government relocation facility for Congress. A three-course lunch will be at Sam Snead's at the Gold Club. Following lunch, depart for the Hampton Inn, Weston WV. Dinner will be at the Gandy Dancer Dinner Theatre
    • September 18, 2024 - Depart for the Cass Scenic Railroad. This is a 4.5 hour wilderness excursion explores the most remote areas of the Mountain State - some areas so remote that even automobiles cannot access! Take the sights of West Virginia's most pristine rivers and enjoy the mountain top views. Box lunch is included. Return to station and depart for dinner at CJ Maggie's in Elkins, WV.
    • September 19, 2024 - Check out and make a visit to the West Virginia Railroad Museum in Elkins. Then it's all aboard the New Tygart Flyer, departing for a four-hour trip. This wilderness excursion features mountain grades, an "S" curve tunnel, high bridge and miles of unspoiled mountain views. The trip culminates at the High Falls of Cheat, 18 ft. high 150 ft. wide waterfall, located in one of the most remote and pristine settings in the region. On the trip to the falls, enjoy a box lunch.
    • September 19, 2024 - Return to the station, board the motorcoach and make your way home.
