Ponant understands the concerns of their loyal guests and new cruisers as this dynamic situation continues to unfold impacting various destinations around the world. With this in mind, they have decided to adjust their deposit and cancellation penalties in order to offer a WORRY-FREE BOOKING policy with more flexibility and greater assurance, which will go into effect immediately and remain active until further notice:

  • For all new reservations (in 2020, 2021 and 2022), customers may cancel up to 90 days after booking (and up to 30 days prior to departure for 2020 cruises) without fees.
  • If you book a cruise that departs in 2020:
    • Pay only 10% deposit to confirm your reservation, and the final balance will be requested 30 days before departure.
    • Up to 30 days before departure, cancelation is possible and free of charge

The above cancelation conditions are valid for the cruise service. For other services, air in particular, the cancelation is at the actual costs requested by the companies. Cancelation without charge may result in a transfer to another cruise without charge, or a refund of the amount of the cruise. A refund will be subject to a management fee of $250 per passenger.  Ask your AAA Travel Agent for complete details.
