AAA Storm Watch

AAA reminds motorists that seasonal storms are a recipe for traffic trouble. Driving during a severe storm presents a real challenge Even a relatively small amount of water on the roadway can be very dangerous. The risk is greater if your tires have poor tread.

“The best advice is to stay off the roads until the storm passes and the roads are cleared,” said Jim Lardear, Director of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Mid-Atlantic. “If you must venture out, stay safe by driving below the posted speed limit, increasing your following distance and putting your headlights on. But, most importantly, listen to weather reports, pay attention to state driving advisories and stay safe as the storm approaches.”

Roadside Assistance Service

AAA is committed to providing motorists with safe, prompt, and efficient service when they have problems with their motor vehicles. Stormy weather presents numerous challenges that will make roadside service delivery difficult in some situations.
