Otto was once a three-foot-tall, remote-controlled, talking robot.  Otto taught thousands of children about wearing a seat belt, safe places to play, how to properly cross the street, bicycle safety and school bus safety. At the height of the program, Otto taught over 33,000 K-2 students a year how to stay safe in their daily activities.

While Otto the Auto in physical robot form has since retired, a skilled team at AAA has come together to allow Otto’s messages to continue to be taught to young children through an animated educational video.

In addition to the video, Otto’s safety messaging is now being reinforced through educational activities, a safety pledge and trading cards. Through Otto the Auto, it is AAA’s goal to continue to positively impact the safety of others, especially young children.
